Medjool Date Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
(Makes 1 serving)
2 Medjool dates, destoned and roughly chopped
200ml semi-skimmed milk
20g porridge oats
40g low fat Greek yoghurt
1 scoop protein powder (chocolate or vanilla flavours work best)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, plus a dash for topping
Method:
5 minutes
1. Place the Medjool dates, milk, oats, yoghurt, protein powder and cinnamon into a blender or smoothie maker. Blend until silky smooth and there are no date chunks remaining.
2. Pour into a suitably sized glass, sprinkle a dash of ground cinnamon over the top and enjoy.
